Jaguar Automatic Gearbox Filter Kits – Latest News

Both the ZF (XK8) and the Mercedes (XKR) automatic gearboxes are supposed to be ‘sealed for life’ units with no need to service the gearbox. These gearboxes are no exception to the fact that the oil and therefore the filters will become contaminated with mileage and to preserve the life of the unit, they will benefit from an oil change at 50,000 and thereafter 30,000 mile intervals. In the past, servicing the autobox was prohibitive due to the cost of the special oil / filter required for the job.

Now at XK8 and XKR Parts we can offer complete service kits covering the whole model range including; XK8 (ZF5HP24). XKR (Mercedes 722-600) and late XK8 / New XK (ZF6hp26 – 6 speed auto boxes. Our service kits also include the correct Jaguar specification gearbox oil with the right quantity so no need to buy more than you need.
